This project transforms an old industrial building in Salt Lake City's Sugarhouse neighborhood into a multigenerational home prioritizing accessibility, safety, and inclusivity for a wheelchair-bound grandmother, an artist mother, and an artsy foster daughter. Blending industrial, contemporary, modern, and French Colonial styles, shared areas will reflect their diverse tastes, while individual spaces will be tailored to their specific needs. A central, light-filled atrium will connect the family to nature and serve as a communal space, embodying their love of art, nature, and togetherness.
